Mix cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla and pour into uncooked pie crust.Put in fridge to chill and thicken for 30-45 minutes.
In a seperate bowl mix, pumpkin, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and milk.Pour on top of the chilled cream cheese layer.
In a small bowl combine pecans, butter, and brown sugar and set aside.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.Cover edge of your pie with foil for half of the baking time to prevent the crust from browning too much.Remove from oven and sprinkle pecan mixture around in a circle on top of the pie.Place in oven for 10-15 minutes.Allow to cool and chill 3-4 hours before serving.
Enjoy,this tastes great!
