I came across some really clever pumpkin decorating ideas,to spice up the look of your front porch this halloween. This put’s a whole new spin on pumpkin decorating for me anyway. What ever happened to just cutting out 3 triangles for the eyes, and the nose that’s about as creative as I have got. There is also quite a few ideas if you don’t want to carve your pumpkin,or do not have the time.
You can also use cookie cutters to trace on your patterns.Another idea someone had was to sprinkle a little cinnamon into your pumpkin, so when you light the candle the house will smell nice.
The one I really like is the pink m&m pumpkin ,a lady did in support of breast cancer. There is also an apple pumpkin with a worm very cute! The hamburger lunch pumpkin is really creative. You could also carve your children’s names in them. There is a scarecrow pumpkin, pink princess pumpkin. Most of these were done with several coats of acyrilic paint.
To get some free stencils for your pumpkin go to www.ehow.com/halloween/templates.html,also www.kraftcanada.com/en/recipes/holidays-and-entertaining/holidays/halloweencentre/pumpkincarving,also http://familycrafts.about.com/od/pumpkincarving/ig/pumpkin-carving-patterns/ they have some pretty neat stencils for you to choose from.
