Good Enough to Eat.

Image Well doesn’t this look tasty for your next halloween party,or just some dessert for the kiddie’s.Mine will probably not eat this, and will definitely be horrified! It will certainly be worth serving them just so I can capture their facial expressions when I do.I will definitely share that picture with everyone.

If you want to make it look even grosser than it already is surround your brain on a platter with several body parts, dollarama has a few. Also line the platter with some cabbage leaves.Lay a meat cleaver beside it,I’m creeping myself out thinking of it.Jello brains has become a halloween food classic for parties, and is a big hit with party goers young and old.

In a medium safe mixing bowl, stir together 4 envelopes of 1/4 packages of unflavoured powdered gelatin, and one can of evaporated milk(12 ounce) Let this mix sit for 5 minutes.

Pour remaining evaporated milk 2-12 ounze cans, and 1 1/2 cup of whipping cream into a heavy saucepan.Slowly bring to a boil.Add 1 cup of sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the boiling milk mixture.Stir until dissolved. Then remove from heat, and pour boiling milk mixture through a fine mesh strainer into the gelatin-evaporated milk mixture.

Stir in two tablespoons of vanilla extract.Add a touch of black paste food colouring to get that realistic grey matter colour.

Spray the brain mold with cooking spray,or follow the manufacturers instructions for the mold. Then pour in your mixture into the brain mold ,and refridgerate overnight.Top with gore glaze just before serving.

To  make cranberry glaze mix 8 oz cranberry juice with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch.Bring to a boil, stir until thickened. Then remove from the heat, and allow it to cool.Stir with a wisk. After your brain is done spoon the mixture over your unmolded brain before serving. The mixture will get lumpy upon cooling and it just makes the final product more gory looking.I hear it is quite tasty enjoy!
