Homemade Haircare.

ImageIf you use baking soda on your hair about once a month it will strip all the build up of stuff on your hair.Just use 1 cup of water with 1 tablespoon of baking soda, mix it up and distribute evenly through your hair.Follow with a vinegar rinse.Use one cup of water and 1 tablespoon of vinegar.Gives your hair a natural shine.Works really well.                                                                                                                                                            A good hotoil treatment for your hair is to pour a little bit of olive oil into a squeeze bottle, like a dishsoap bottle works well.Put it into a pot of hotwater to heat it up, not on the stove. Then distribute the oil evenly through your hair, wrap it in a towel and leave on 40 minutes. Then shampoo as normal, you may need to shampoo twice so your hair isn’t oily. This is really great for someone who has dry hair.                                                                                                                                                          This recipe is pretty popular I hear, homemade coconut shampoo.Use 1/4 cup of coconut milk from a can or  make your own,1/8 cup of baby shampoo, and 1 teaspoon of vitamin e or olive oil.Put all the ingredients into a shampoo bottle, and shake it up.To make your own coconut milk  you will need 1/2 a cup of shredded coconut put into your blender with 1 cup of hotwater.Mix for 20 minutes but not continuously. Then strain the milk through a sieve or cloth.Push down all the coconut to get all the milk.Put the coconut back into the blender with a cup of hot water and repeat this process three times. This is great for someone who likes the smell of coconut.
